The little, newly born nation, was taking in everything happening...it had only been a little bit ago that the people had finally found him. Pulling him out of that dark, cold room had been a shocking moment...But one that he was glad to have happened, because it had been lonely...his throat hurt from screaming, and his eyes still stung from crying for so long. Sniffling, he looked at the new shirt the nice adults had given him. It was far bigger then his small body, and the sleeves slipped past his hands..but it was nice, because they kept his fingers warm. His clothes, the ones he'd woken up in were placed on the floor dirty and damp. It had been wet from the constant dripping that fell from above him. And now he was sitting on a chair that was soft, and white. He was in a room that was slightly bigger then the dark one he'd been in sitting in that whole time. This room was more..open, and colorful. Though..it still made the child feel uneasy, especially with these three people who kept acting scared.
Nervously, he looked to the adults bustling before him. Two of them, one blonde and one with really dark hair -so many colors, it was amazing!- where standing anxiously by the door. "Shit..Brigs, you don't think..he'd come here 'imself do you?" The blonde haired man mumbled, light eyes glancing towards the entrance. The other man, with red hair -Brigs- furrowed his brow and bit his thumb. "No idea butt...I never seen him come in person. Only 'igher ups do..." The blue eyed man who found him, and changed his clothes was standing beside a wooden..stand. Holding a plastic thing to his ear, mouth set in a straight line as it..looked like he had gone pale. "Yes sir...we found a small child...No, he was down in the ammunition bay. We just checked it today..." he paused, stiffening. "Ah..it was..two days he has been there..." There was a loud noise which sounded like 'What' screamed from the other end of the plastic thing. The blonde jumped a little. Why was the thing so angry?
The man had pulled the phone away from his ear before slowly bringing it back before answering. "Yes we had heard something, but we we've been here for awhile so we thought the noise was just our minds..." The man winced and looked down. "No..it's not and excuse. But Sir, if you'd please hurry the child has been crying for you." The blonde child's eyes widened, looking happy at those words. Was it him on the phone? Was he coming? "Is Engwan here yet?" The boy whispered. sounding hopeful. Oh he'd hoped England would come for him! Down in the dark, all he had was a few thoughts in his head the moment he opened his eyes and began crying. All he had was...a name, and a feeling in his chest that the person that named belonged to would help him.
The man looked towards him, giving a shaky smile and nodded. It made the boy's chest grow light, and suddenly all that time waiting was worth it. He would be safe soon...he would be warm soon. After a long pause the man sighed. "Thank you...we have the ladder read for your boarding. We are expecting you, cheers." He said before slamming the plastic thing in its holder. The noise made the child jump and looked worried. "Wat's wong?" The adult looked up and shook his head. "Nothing's wrong, don't worry...Ah..England is coming himself, so just wait a little while." The other two, Brigs and Butt grew paler, but Brigs spoke first. "Seriously Reginald!? The man's coming here? Himself!?"
With a nod the the adults all walked to the door, looking out the small square that let in some light. All whispering about..something, but honestly the child didn't care. The newly made nation only cared about one thing, and that was meeting the man whose named he'd woken up knowing. Smiling a little, the boy began to fidget with the sleeves of his big shirt.
He just hoped this went good...it would be nice to see him.
